What is the Wisconsin Well Woman Program? (WWWP)


The program is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services and is available in all 72 Wisconsin Counties. The program covers clinical breast exams, mammograms, pap tests and if needed referrals for treatment. It is not a health insurance program and cannot pay for all of your health care needs.

Who Is Eligible?


  • Income guidelines for a family of 1 = $29,700, family of 2 = $39,825, larger families, add $10,400 for each additional person
  • Underinsured where insurance does not pay for breast and cervical cancer screenings or you are unable to afford the deductible or copay
  • Uninsured
  • Women living in Wisconsin age 45 to 65 years of age. Exceptions for women age 35 to 44 years of age with a breast problem such as a lump or other changes of the breast
