1940 Chevy Truck
A DARE vehicle is a symbol to the community that reinforces the DARE message to resist drugs and violence. DARE vehicles are used in parades and at special events to present a dynamic image which helps to act as a bridge between police officers and children.

The Greenfield Police Department has built its own DARE show vehicle. Augustine’s Automotive of Greenfield donated a 1940 Chevrolet truck to be restored.

Primary sponsors of the effort were the West Allis Auto Club and N and S Towing. Restoration of the vehicle was accomplished through the generous contributions of parts, services and money from area businesses.
