The Greenfield Police Department law enforcement services criminal investigation and community outreach within the corporate limits of the City of Greenfield and, in certain matters, to other local, state, and federal agencies.
Custodian of Public Records
The Custodian of Public Records for the department is the Chief of Police. The Chief may delegate operational control and oversight to a subordinate. Members of the public may obtain access to public records maintained by the Greenfield Police Department, or obtain copies of these records, by making a request to the Custodian of Public Records whenever the public lobby is accessible and open to the public. Normal business hours for the Records Division are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Such requests should be made to:

The department may bill requestors $0.25 per photocopied page provided. Additional fees apply to records in other formats including audio / video recordings, photos etc. Those fees are posted in the public lobby of the Greenfield Police Department and on the Department's website.
