Dog & Cat Licenses


Wisconsin State Statute requires that all dogs & cats over five months of age be licensed on an annual basis.   To obtain a dog or cat license you may use Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission's (MADACC) website by clicking on MADACC or by providing your pet’s rabies vaccination proof to the City of Greenfield Treasurer’s Office, along with a fee based on the schedule below:

- Altered pet (spayed/neutered) prior to April 1st - $12
- Unaltered pet (non-spayed/neutered) prior to April 1st - $24

Late Renewal:
- Altered pet starting April 1st - $18
- Unaltered pet starting April 1st - $36

Puppies/Kittens - special fees for new family members:
- 5 months old AFTER July 1st and altered - $6
- 5 months old AFTER July 1st and unaltered - $12
