Alyssa Rohner, BSN, RN (She/Her)
Public Health NursePhone: 414-329-5266To me, public health means using an upstream approach to address issues and provide education to improve the health of individuals and the communities in which they live. I was inspired to work in public health because while working in a hospital as a RN, I felt like I did not have enough time to educate my patients. I wanted to work in a setting where I could educate people, promote health and wellness, work to increase access to healthcare, and address inequities in healthcare.
