Radon is an odorless and colorless gas that is a byproduct of the decay of uranium. Radon seeps through openings in a home. Radon exposure is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Homes that are found to have radon can be mitigated to reduce or eliminate exposure to radon. City of Greenfield Residents can purchase a Radon Kit for $7 from the Greenfield Health Department.
