The polls are open from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Election Day. A photo ID is required to vote. All polling places are accessible to elderly voters and voters with disabilities.

You may Return your Absentee Ballot by any of the following ways-

  • Mail your ballot. Allow at least one week for mail.* 
  • Personally deliver your ballot to the City Clerk’s office, Room 102.* 
    Please note that the clerk shall secure the ballot and cause the ballot to be delivered to the polling place serving the elector’s residence before 8 PM on Election Day. Please also note that, if returning your ballot to the City Clerk’s office on Election Day, the ballot must be delivered by 7 PM in order to ensure its timely delivery to the polling place by the Clerk’s Office by 8 PM.  Any ballot not mailed or delivered as provided in this subsection may not be counted, Wis. Stat. 6.87 (6).
  • Personally deliver your ballot to your polling location on Election Day, April 7, 2026, between the hours of 7 AM and 8 PM.*
    The ballot shall be returned so it is delivered to the polling place no later than 8 PM on Election Day, Wis. Stat. 6.87(6).
  • Personally deliver your ballot to the drop box, located in the wall on the south side of the Greenfield City Hall building, 7325 W. Forest Home Ave.* 
    The drop box closes at 7 PM on Election Day, April 7, 2026. After 7 PM, you may personally deliver your ballot to your polling location no later than 8 PM, or personally deliver your ballot to the City Clerk’s office, Room 102, by 7 PM so your ballot may be delivered to the polling place serving the elector’s residence before 8 PM, Wis. State. 6.87(6).

*Voters with disabilities have the right to assistance in returning an absentee ballot. The voter’s assistant can be anyone who is not the voter’s employer, an agent of the employer, a representative of their labor union, or a candidate on the ballot. See 52 U.S.C. § 10508
