ELECTION HELP WANTED
The Greenfield City Clerk’s office is looking for individuals who are interested in training to work as Election Inspectors at the polls for 2025-2026 elections. Election Inspectors assist electors with voting and voter registration at the polls on election days. Election Inspectors must be available to work at the polls for some or all elections in 2025-2026 from 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Split shifts from 6:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. will be considered; full shifts will be filled first. Election officials earn $15 per hour and are required to attend training prior to working at the polls; training pay is $7.25 per hour.
Qualifications: following criteria: (1) Be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language; (2) Communicate effectively; (3) Receive training; (4) Is not a candidate for any office to be voted on at an election at which they serve; (5) Is a qualified elector, a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age, and not disqualified from voting for any of the reasons described in §6.03, Wis. Stats.
