Clerical Staff

The clerical staff consists of full-time Police Clerk / Typists and part-time Transcriptionists. These dedicated professionals provide clerical support services to the Patrol and Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Duties

Clerical staff members perform varied duties including:
  • Data entry
  • Record management compliance
  • Transcription of dictated police reports

Applicant Requirements

Eligible applicants are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent and must pass a written examination, keyboarding test, interviews and an extensive background check and physical exam.
