Mission:


The Greenfield Pollinator Protection Committee’s mission is to promote the health of all pollinators, through local policy changes, conservation efforts and public education.

2021 Projects:

  • Installed the City's first designated Pollinator Habitat at Kulwicki Park
  • Planted pollinator trees and flowers at area parks
  • Offered pollinator education & outreach at the Greenfield Farmers Market
  • Hosted a Pollinator Celebration and a World Migratory Bird Day event for the public

2022 Projects:  

  • No Mow May spring initiative
  • Awarded Bird City WI's "High Flyer" recognition for going above & beyond in our conservation efforts
  • Installed milkweed plantings at public parks
  • Offered pollinator education & outreach at the Greenfield Farmers Market
  • Hosted Forestry & NatureFest and World Migratory Bird Day Celebration
