Mission:


The Greenfield Pollinator Protection Committee’s mission is to promote the health of all pollinators, through local policy changes, conservation efforts and public education.

Committee Projects:

  • Installed the City's first designated Pollinator Habitat at Kulwicki Park
  • Offered pollinator education & outreach at the Greenfield Farmers Market
  • Hosted a Pollinator Celebration event for the public
  • Awarded Bird City WI's "High Flyer" recognition for going above & beyond in our conservation efforts
  • Installed milkweed plantings at public parks
  • Less Mow May spring initiative
  • Participated in Greenfield's Arbor Day Tree and Perennial Planting at Konkel Park
  • Host annual Nature&Forestry Fest & World Migratory Bird Day Celebrations
