Mission:
The Greenfield Pollinator Protection Committee’s mission is to promote the health of all pollinators, through local policy changes, conservation efforts and public education.
Committee Projects:
- Installed the City's first designated Pollinator Habitat at Kulwicki Park
- Offered pollinator education & outreach at the Greenfield Farmers Market
- Hosted a Pollinator Celebration event for the public
- Awarded Bird City WI's "High Flyer" recognition for going above & beyond in our conservation efforts
- Installed milkweed plantings at public parks
- Less Mow May spring initiative
- Participated in Greenfield's Arbor Day Tree and Perennial Planting at Konkel Park
- Host annual Nature&Forestry Fest & World Migratory Bird Day Celebrations
