CRASE TRAINING: Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events
It makes sense to be prepared. Law enforcement officers and agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and advice on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The Greenfield Police Department recognizes that these events can and do happen anywhere. In an effort to educate and help protect our citizens, the Greenfield Police Department is pleased to offer The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) training to all Greenfield residents. The CRASE course is designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend concept and provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, the role of professional guardians, civilian response options, medical issues and basic wound care. For more information please contact Sergeant Robert Austin at 414-761-5341. To register for the CRASE Training please click the form below.
